World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and the ability to enchant.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. They can be acquired through the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is located on any item. Every item recycled adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
If a weapon is upgraded, it gets an initial damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have aesthetic effects while others give additional benefits. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, or gathering tools, and most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and meet certain requirements. When a weapon or armor piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it can be upgraded with a different one but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item itself.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times based on the weapon level.
When the weapon reaches its maximum level of upgrade, it can then be rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. A variety of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects differ based on the rarity of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
In general, it's best to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and, finally the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading other equipment. This will increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the performance of certain weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, like more damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, or in loot drops or as rewards for quests.
upgrade item can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases, a piece of armor can be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. Most armor types are upgradeable, however certain items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.
The majority of armor upgrades provide some improvement to an item's defense base or strength. Some upgrades, however, can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is particularly true when upgrading epic items.
Some upgrades provide specific abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, such as decreasing the amount of damage sustained while wearing armor or adding the chance to avoid attacks.
Depending on the type of armor being used, upgrading an item can require multiple attempts. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with a defense base between 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77, and it goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular opinion, armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. The truth is that some armors come with very substantial enhancements to poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, making them extremely useful for specific builds. There are other methods to improve armor stats besides upgrading armor, such as using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effect and can be repeated to unlock more tiers of potency.
The potions also have an individual color, which can be selected by the player using /give. The color will affect the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions and awkward potions now have a distinct texture when they are brewed. Add potion of weakness and potion of healing in Creative inventory. The potions are lingering and can be prepared using dragon breath or splash potions and a thick pot that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:45). Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive piece of jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace or even a tiny flag that is used to identify a boat's yard that is lateen. It can also be the trinket with gilded gold that is fixed to the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more prevalent. At its current level it makes all kinds of mimic Xx more popular and gives each floor the chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to influence the dungeon, increasing its likelihood of generating grass and water. This trinket at the current level, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are produced to solve hazards rooms.
While it appears like an ordinary eye of a newt, this mysterious item appears to be affecting your vision in ways beyond simply reducing your field of view. This trinket, at the moment level, increases the health benefits of drinking healing potions and wells of life by X% and gives you mind-sight on enemies within the Y tile. This trinket does not stack with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters and chests and crates. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have an unpredictable impact on the trinket either extending its lifespan or enhancing its effects. You can reforge an item for as many times as you like, but it will always have a different effect than the one you had when you first made it.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
